The Ústí nad Labem City Museum houses art-historical, historical, archaeological, technical and scientific exhibits. With a collection of 200,000 exhibits, including 60,000 books and 2,000 manuscripts and graphic sheets, the museum is one of the most important regional museums in the Czech Republic. The museum also has a valuable regional library. A special highlight is the permanent exhibition “Our Germans” about the German-speaking population in Bohemia and Moravia over the course of around 800 years. It is the only exhibition on this subject in the Czech Republic.
