You can view some fifty exhibits from the 1950s through the late 1980s in Terezín. The collection includes vintage motorcycles, Tatra trucks, and foreign cars such as the Wartburg, Trabant, Dacia, Lada, and Moskvich. Most of the museum’s exhibits come from car manufacturers in the former Eastern Bloc, but you’ll also find a few interesting pieces from the West that were driven by prominent figures of the time. On display is a complete range of Škoda models, from the first Felicias through the MBs and R models to the 105s and 120s. Among them are rare exhibits, such as the two-door Škoda 1000 MBX or the Škoda Rapid Cabrio, which was manufactured exclusively in England. You can feast your eyes on the legendary Tatra 603 and 613, which served exclusively as government vehicles until the 1970s. But fans of foreign brands won’t be disappointed either—you’ll find models of the Wartburg, Trabant, Dacia, Lada, and the Moskvich, nicknamed “Lenin’s Sled.” Cars driven by prominent figures or people who could afford to buy a foreign vehicle at Tuzex include models from Mercedes, Jaguar, and Fiat.
