The Zubrnice Open-Air Museum is located in the picturesque surroundings of the Bohemian Uplands and is one of the youngest in Bohemia. It is the only one in North Bohemia that focuses on folk architecture and life in the Lower Krusnohoří and the Central Bohemian Uplands. In Týniště you can see a number of buildings from this region and a reconstructed working watermill. You can also see farmhouse no. 61 with outbuildings, a functional smokeless fruit drying plant, a school building with equipment from the period after the Second World War and other interiors from this period, including the village store and the Baroque church of St. Mary Magdalene. The only open-air museum in North Bohemia shows the living culture and the connection of the original inhabitants with the landscape of the former Sudetenland and its transformation in the post-war period.
