Whether young or old, anyone who wants to get to know or enjoy the rich folk art of Saxony will find a unique presentation in the four-hundred-year-old, atmospheric Jägerhof. The museum offers varied insights into the world of folk art and presents the wealth of old traditions as well as new works from the border areas between everyday life and art: enchanting carvings from the Erzgebirge, printed and embroidered weavings from Lusatia, magnificent traditional costumes from the Sorbs and virtuoso lace from the Vogtland; painted furniture, richly decorated ceramics and an unusually diverse collection of historical toys.
