The Dresden Technical Collections are both a museum and a science center. In exhibitions and educational programs, key issues relating to the current development of technology, culture and society are linked with Dresden's tradition as a center of high technology. The "Adventure Land of Mathematics" and numerous museum educational programs offer the opportunity to experiment independently and learn about natural phenomena, scientific methods and the fundamentals of technology in a playful way. "Cloud 8: The climate and us" in the Ernemann Tower provides information and encourages an exchange of opinions on the subject of climate change. Temporary exhibitions present regional and international photography. A café in the 48-metre-high Ernemannturm invites visitors to enjoy the view over Dresden.
