Just a stone's throw from Dresden's Frauenkirche, the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum invites you to experience people and their bodies. For over 100 years, the unique hands-on museum has been offering a look "under the skin". Under one roof, the museum combines the permanent exhibition "Adventure Man" and the Dresden Children's Museum "World of the Senses" (for children between 5 and 12 years). In addition, there are annually changing exhibitions on current topics from science, culture and society. The listed museum building is a striking example of New Objectivity architecture. Public guided tours tell of the museum's eventful history in the 20th century.
