The permanent exhibition at Dresden’s municipal art museum offers visitors an overview of Dresden art of the 20th and 21st centuries, with works by such artists as Robert Diez, Otto Dix, Conrad Felixmüller, Hermann Glöckner, Peter Graf, Hans Grundig, Otto Gussmann, Olaf Holzapfel, Ralf Kerbach, Hans Körnig, Gotthardt Kuehl, Gerda Lepke, Peter Makolies, Otto Mueller, A. R. Penck, Curt Querner, Theodor Rosenhauer, Charlotte Sommer-Landgraf, Robert Sterl, Erika Streit, Max Uhlig und Werner Wittig.
Small thematic exhibitions and the works by selected contemporary artists are presented in the adjoining Projektraum (Project Space). The museum also regularly mounts special exhibitions in collaboration with partners both in Germany and abroad.
